I’ve always been fascinated by the moon, how big and bright it can get. Its illumination at full moon can turn night into day and the fascinating shapes and lines formed by craters can provide illusions. Some have even claimed to have seen the shape of the virgin Mary on the surface

Have you ever wondered what those lines on the moon are, especially emanating from craters?
When an object hits a planetary body at high speed, there’s a lot of energy involved and matter is going to be thrown up everywhere.
All that stuff that gets kicked up has to come down and a lot of time it settles down in rays hence the lines you see.
It is this weird fascination that has led me on the journey of  a 30 day series on the different ‘faces’ of the moon.
